Design template

The Secret of Success

Here I begin to form a template to follow for designing. A set of areas to include in the presentation of each design. Designs will form and flow, depending on what framework I choose for each. But here’s an outline to begin with. Each design template should at least include:

Design Title

Title of project

Location

Aim/goal/mission for the design

Designer/author – bio

Background

Intro, history, story of the project

Where you are

VISION & GOALS

Where you want to be

Approach

Frameworks

Design process

Survey

Analysis

Design

Evaluation

Reflection

Each design will shape around the chosen framework. For land-based projects I’ll likely use SADIMET or something similar, perhaps MSCEADE following the process learnt on my PDC. For the people/social/web based designs, I’ll use GOBRADIME and the Design web. I may even come up with my own framework which encompasses everything needed for assessment, but that is shaped more intentionally to each project and the needs and requirements.

○What was challenging?

○What are your long term visions and goals

○What are your next achievable steps?
